Clothing:

Bring informal clothing for outdoor living: sturdy, comfortable shoes for rocky path walking, warm clothes for cool weather, and rain gear. Frequent swimmers should bring more than one bathing suit. Meals are casual dress.

Lights:

Each camper should bring at least one reliable headlamp or flashlight for walking after dark. Campers bring solar lanterns for their cabins, or borrow them from the camp store. There are electricity and lights at the Change House, Main House and Retreat. Batteries are available for purchase at the camp store. Limited electrical outlets are available in public spaces to re-charge lights if needed.

Toiletries:

Solar showers are provided at each cabin. Campers should bring biodegradable soap, and bathe away from the lake. Towels will be provided for each camper although campers may want to bring beach towels for the Main Dock. Sunscreen and insect repellent are available at the camp store.

Entertainment:

Games and books are available in the Main House, and campers are welcome to bring their own as well. Parents should consider bringing materials to entertain children on rainy days. While PFDs will be available, those who have them are encouraged to bring their own; children 12 and under are required to wear PFDs while in boats. One highlight for many campers is the daily (except Sunday) arrival of the US Mailboat which sells treats and souvenirs.

For your cabin:

Cups are provided at cabins, along with a simple wash basin and pitcher. While sheets and blankets are provided, some campers amend those with their own bedding for their personal comfort and convenience.
